Reading the timetable #
The screen is titled after your location — “Makkah calendar”. Each row is one day of the month; each column is a prayer, in chronological order: Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha. Chimely tries to fit the entire month on screen without scrolling.
- Today’s row is tinted with your clock’s segment colour, and its date is bold.
- The current prayer on today’s row is filled solid — so a glance tells you which period you are in.
- The Hijri date appears twice: as a month span in the header, and in short form beside each day’s number.
- A missing time shows as an em dash (—).
Moving between months #
Use the chevrons either side of the month name (Previous month / Next month), or tap the month name itself to open a year stepper and a grid of months. The range runs from 2016 to 2077, which is the span the Hijri conversion supports.
Including the optional times #
The Nawafil chip in the top bar adds Tahajjud, Sunrise, Ishraq and Duha as extra columns, slotted into their natural chronological position. This is independent of the Optional times setting that governs the clock face — you can browse them in the calendar without adding them to your clock.
The calendar is a browse-only view. There is currently no export, share or print action.
